The lack of a solution to the people whose facebook accounts have been locked should be considered to be a criminal act by facebook.
Lets face it. Facebook has proven it cannot be trusted with our personal information. I for one do not feel safe giving them ANY personal information. Not only can they be hacked, its what they do with that information that I object to.
My friend Jack's account is locked. Like me he does not have a text capable telephone because his land line is hooked up to a health monitor. He cannot get text messages at that phone.
He had to borrow a friends phone. He sent them the phone number, they sent him a 6 digit security code. He input the code on the log in page, and then it asked for a photo of him, specifically his face. Jack has NEVER posted a picture of himself on his page. He does NOT want facebook to have that information. So I guess he is screwed, right?
Another friend did the same thing. Gave FB his cell phone number, then was asked to upload a pic, then he did.. he was told they would look at it and get back to him. Until then his account is still locked up.
Another friend doesn't even own a phone. He had a choice to make.. Internet or a phone. He chose internet because his son needs it for school. He has a VOI number on his table, that the school and others can call him on. Yet facebook will not send a code to him at that number. And what about his son's account? What if they want a phone number for him? It will be the same as his dad's.
Currently there is no way to contact FB unless you are logged in. But how do you log in if your account is locked?
Facebooks total lack of options for people who got caught up in this thing, whose accounts are still locked out, some going on 2 weeks, should be cause for alarm and should be investigated. Especially since so many places and things are now linked to facebook, such as news sites, business pages, and other things.
Also Facebook needs to be investigated because of its misuse and abuse of private information and the hoops it is now forcing people to jump thru to get their accounts back.

Facebook's silence is deafening; Not telling victims how to recover accounts.
Lets face facts. Ever since Facebook got caught selling People's information to third-party sources people are reluctant now to give any kind of access to Facebook to that information. People don't want to have access to their telephone contact information. I for one do not want Facebook to be able to get my cell phone number from my friends telephones or other devices that contain my contact information.
Since Facebook .patch and a number of users were affected, Facebook as shutdown a large number of pages and user accounts claiming people had abused Facebook policies. But who here is the abuser?
I do believe some of these so-called violations are the result of people trying to protect their personal data. I know of several people who use fake names on Facebook because they don't want Facebook to access this data or to have access to their private information.
Then you have people like Bill and John who are father and son that use the same computer. These are neighbors of mine. Bill the father has a main computer in the living room that the entire family uses. John his son also has a Facebook account like his father but each one has a different login. Each one does different things however they do play a game on facebook and help each other when playing game. Also Bill runs a page dedicated to helping diabetics, with over 100k followers that he can no longer access.
I am not sure how FB handles cookies for two different users using the same computer in the same operating system but with different logons. I think this is part of the problem and may be why FB thinks they have abused the policies and why their accounts are now locked out.
Both individuals have tried to logon to their accounts only to find that a security screen pops up that asked them to provide a phone number so that a text message can be sent to them neither one of them want to give FB a phone number for obvious personal security reasons. Bill has a landline and cannot get text messages. John's cell phone contains business contact information that he does not have a right to share with anyone else including FB. so he cannot give that information out to them. So he does not have a phone number that he can get to them either. So what are their options? Both accounts email address have been confirmed by Facebook.
Another individual that I know has gotten to that same security screen and provided a phone number that is capable of receiving text messages, but the access code being sent by FB is never received that that number. He has pressed the "resend the number" but in several times but still has not received the code. It has been four days since he's been able to access his account. And FB is not being forthcoming with any information about users on how to recover their accounts.
FB's poor choice of action taken as a result of this huge data breach is resulting in people losing a lot of data a lot of contacts and is also going to hurt a lot of businesses who are connected to FB in one way or another, either by page, or by plug in, or by advertisements.
Many businesses are now linked to Facebook with either plug-ins or side applications such as news media. Many news articles require a Facebook account for a person to comment on the articles. On the news articles. not to mention the many online games associated with this where people buy coins or chips or other articles to make the games more enjoyable that can no longer access these purchases because FB has their account locked up or lie down due to this data breach.
The silence from Facebook is deafening and users are getting angry because there is no way to contact them directly and ask for help in getting their accounts on blocked or getting their accounts recovered for that matter. In the long run this is going to have a serious effect on Facebook's profit margin because people will no longer trust it. Already their stocks are starting to drop because the response to the general public has been inadequate for the severity of the problem that has occurred.
As Facebook continues to remain silent on this issue without informing the general public what's going on or giving the users information so that they can recover their accounts or have some method in which to challenge facebook's decision that they have somehow violated policies, the people are going to get angrier and angrier and I will not be surprised if we start hearing calls for Congressional or judicial investigation of facebook and its policies

Face book lock out report,
October 9th 2018
Recently facebook suffered a major hack. 90 million accounts were effected.
After logging in several times the other day I ended up at this page.. and its BROKEN. It will not work.
1. I gave it a phone number to send a text to.. I never got the text.
I hit resend several times over an hour, and never got the text.
2. If you try to report a problem it tells you to log in, but the problem here is that you are already logged in and it won't let you do anything.
This is very frustrating.. They are refusing to grant us access.. they already have confirmed my Email addy, so whats their frigging problem???

Facebook locking out accounts
After logging into facebook several times today to play games, and do other things, I logged in to find them doing a security check.
They asked for a mobile phone number. I have never given them one, nor will I ever give those bunch of crooks a phone number. Not after their spyware scandal earlier this year.
When I selected "report a problem" It would tell me to log in.. but it won't let me log in to report the problem.
This is going to cause them to lose a LOT of people. Many of us who use face book do not want face book to have access to all our data, and they have proven they cannot be trusted with it.
My son uses this same computer to log into his face book account and he got the same thing.
Hope they fix this soon. There is no way to contact them about it.

Saying no to recreational Marijuana
Michigan has a recreational Marijuana law up for vote this November. I will be voting NO.
My reasons are plenty. We already have too many people who misuse the stuff. The smell of it is like a skunk smell, and I do not want to be around it.
I have friends who smoke it - they have become dumber the longer they use it. One got hurt on the job and refused to go to the med center, saying if he did, they would find it in him and he would lose his job. But the stupid idiot won't stop using it. This is the same dumbass who lost a job, due to not being able to pass the Recall physical, when he got laid off then recalled back to work 8 months later, during the 2008 Depression.
Employers can still fire you for having it in your system. Nothing will change with the new law.
The apartment complex where several veteran friends live over by East Brook mall, have a no MJ usage policy as part of their lease. Yet the buildings reek of MJ smell. The apartment complex is doing nothing to enforce its own rules.
Another fried is allergic to it. She had to move out of her apartment because the previous tenant smoked MJ heavily and the complex did nothing to clean up the smell in the apartment after the previous tenant moved out. All they did was replace the carpets, and put a layer of paint on the walls.
I know of 5 people that regularly drive while high.
I don't care how much money the state will get if it taxes the hell out of it, its not worth it.
Some cities are already passing laws that forbid its use within the city limits, making smoking it in public a crime, even if the recreational law gets approved.
The movement to decriminalize MJ is just a generation that wants to live its life under the influence of mind altering drugs, without have to face the penalties for doing so. And that is just not right.

Constructive Eviction in Michigan.
I want to talk about a situation that is rarely talked about by Landlords and tenants. I am talking about what is called a Constructive eviction. Now this is not a normal landlord-tenant conviction which requires a court order.
A constructive eviction is where the landlord creates a breach of contract by either failing to uphold the terms of the contract, or by taking an action which makes the leased property unusable by the tenant.
In the case my friend is dealing with, involves the Landlord not enforcing the therms of their contract on another tenant, who is making my friends leased space, unusable.
My friend has packed up his stuff and left the property, breaking the lease, claiming "constructive eviction by reason of failure of landlord to enforce the terms of its lease, of another client, whose actions have made my leased space, unusable".
To be exact, A tenant is smoking dope in the building. The smell is stinking up the hallways (public areas) and is seeping into my friends apartment. He cannot risk being exposed to the stuff. He has asked the property management to act. They have failed to so so and claim the problem is out of their hands as there is nothing they feel they can do. As of today, smoking pot is illegal in Michigan unless you have a valid medical Marijuana card, and even then under the law, landlords have the right to refuse to allow you to smoke it on their property. This is the case here. Everyone has to sign a page as part of their lease that informs them it is not allowed anywhere on the property. Yet the Apt management will not enforce the terms of that agreement. So why have it?
My friend will be suing this apartment complex for damages under the law, once he gets settled into his new location.

What is wrong with you, America?
I dunno.. maybe its me. Old fashioned, or whatever. Maybe as I get closer to meeting my maker I am becoming intolerant of stupid people, or people doing stupid stuff
One thing is for sure, the National and local news stations make me sick with the way they report things, and WHAT they report now.
Just saw an article on one of the local news rags where they claim some guy in Denver Colorado, removed the "nads" from a woman. Turns out it was one of those sick twisted people that think a human can change their gender. DNA does not change. You are either a man or a woman, there is no such thing as transgender and the media is shoving that in our faces. I am sick of it.. its twisted, its wrong, it is mental.
Then I read another article about some snowflake whining that President Trump's budget spends too much on the military and leaves nothing for social programs. Yet his budget graph shows 2.7 trillion used for social security and social programs, almost 2/3rds of the entire budget. WTF is wrong with these people?
And I still see people whining about Trumps tax returns, but said NOTHING about Obama's personal records that are STILL SEALED.. The ones that show he is using someone elses social security number, went to college as a foreign student, among other things.
And the way media reports news today. Everything negative about the President, yet they never questioned what obama did, they never questioned the fact that Hillary fixed a primary election, and was given preferential treatment in the Debates..
We have a serious problem here folks. The people spoke loudly to BOTH parties when the elected Donald Trump to the US Presidency. First, they rejected the progressive socialism the democratic party has been taken over by, as it no longer represents the working class.
Second, they rejected the RINOS and establishment politicians in WDC.. And neither side INCLUDING the main stream media doesn't get it yet. In fact, it seems both sides of the establishment are trying to get rid of President Trump, instead of working with him to make the USA great again. Why? Because they would have to WORK to get their money, instead of being lazy.
Working class people who are willing to work for what they get, are tired of paying for lazy asses who want everything given to them. They are tired of the parasites. And yet the media still doesn't understand that.
And the unemployment figures? That lie? 5 million people out of work not being counted? How much longer do those idiots reporting the news, and the morons in WDC think the American people are going to keep buying into that stupidity?.
And what is all this hypocrisy about separation of church and state, where Christianity is kept out of the schools but the schools are catering to the religious demands of the muslims? And its not just in our schools either. These immigrants are demanding our businesses cater to their views. As workers working for a company, many have filed discrimination complaints that are absurd to most Americans, yet companies are being forced by the courts to change policies to accommodate these people? What other group of immigrants have done this? NONE.
And let us not mention the fact that many of them get some kind of government assistance before they have so much as contributed one dime or days work to the benefit of this country and its people.
Now lets talk about the stupidity of sanctuary cities and the morons who support illegal immigrants. These people by definition are criminals for being here. They are stealing from every one of us, because our country has to redirect and use our limited resources to track them down, arrest them, house and feed them, until they get deported. These resources could be used for other things such as rebuilding the nations infrastructure. And the cost is in the hundreds of billions of dollars yearly. Yet we have many people who are stupid enough to support these people, making absurd claims that if we do not let them in, no one will be here to harvest the crops. Fact is most of them do not work on farms, only about 10 percent do. The rest have taken over jobs in Industry and skilled trades. Heck the place I worked at was well known for hiring them, and INS. or ICE as its called now, on a regular basis took buss loads of them out of the 2 plants where they worked making auto parts.
And what is this shear stupidity coming from California about so called educated students claiming free speach is racist and should be abolished? Are you kidding me? Yep, that's what they said..
And Black lives matter, another racist group that doesn't care about blacks at all. If they did they would be demanding an end to the killings of blacks by blacks in Chicago and Detroit.
And my grandfathers political party the democrats have been infiltrated by the Communists/socialists who call themselves progressives.. They have no place in the USA, as the historical evidence is showing us they want to destroy the USA and turn it into another 3rd world cess pool failure like all the other ones. The party needs to be investigated, its members arrested, charged with sedation and kicked out of the country.
And how about these high school kids whose yearbook included a statement that President Trump should be beheaded? The student who made that comment should be arrested, the administrators fired for allowing it to happen.
And Sports athletes who refuse to stand for the national anthem. They need to be kicked off their teams, and thrown out of the sport. What a bunch of over paid losers.
The Veterans Administration is still a mess. Time to shut it down.
Obama care is unconstitutional for obvious reasons and needs to be abolished.
Then we have a bunch of stupid people trying to erase history in the south by removing statues, and banning the Confederate battle flag.
We have a group of people who still think this is 1860 and slavery is still an issue. Sorry folks, No reparations for you.. None of you was a slave, and most of you were born 100 years AFTER the end of the civil war.
Unless this country pulls its collective head out of its ass, we are going to be in big trouble soon. We need to enforce the laws on the books, and start prosecuting those people who are actively working to destroy our country from within. And they have a jump start on the rest of us..
